The tariffs are bleeding the average person dry, and many people are buying only essentials. Our discretionary spending is dead.
It'll take time for the world to adjust, but the US is no longer an economic superpower. Not even close. Trump managed to destroy that in less than a year.

No. It can't. I don't know if you've noticed, but countries are making deals with each other, and excluding the US, and that's working out fine for them.
We, the people of the USA, no longer have discretionary spending money. When that's gone, other countries have no use for us, besides the basics like medicine, clothes, and food. And even those aren't doing well. We're buying the basics, and going longer without new clothes. We're even forgoing medicines, which is really bad.

The USA has created a massive financial bubble with AI, when that pops, there will likely be a global recession similar to 2008, it WILL punish other countries, yes they are pivoting away from the USA, but that takes a long time, and America is still such a big player other countries cannot fully insulate themselves from the economic effects and risks.
