The word Satan appears in the Hebrew bible, but means something different. The concept of Satan as Christians know it is poorly supported even in the NT and is mostly non-biblical, but to be fair so is the holy trinity.

(And I'm an EE that runs his laptop powersupply of off his Prius DC battery, as modern switching powersupplies can easily do this* but old-fashioned transformers will immediately blow a fuse (or worse)). (*disclaimer: only try this if you know what you are doing: my 200-250Vdc battery is well within the range of the powersupply (100-240VAC which is immediately rectified in the powersupply to a DC voltage between (100Vac=)140Vdc and (240Vac=)340Vdc))

So, you PC power supply does a LOT more than switch AC to DC, it also has different voltage outputs for the different subsystems...
What DC voltage would you send? 24 and then just use resistors to get correct output voltages everywhere?
Much easier to have a constant input AC and then build custom power supplies

Fun fact: making a transformer for AC to AC is much easier than DC to DC, and a DC voltage regulator (commonly used to change an unknown DC voltage to a specific DC voltage) is very inefficient. So AC is probably better unless you get DC hookups for every voltage your devices need. Also, DC loses more power for the same length/thickness of cable, which means you need thicker cables so they don't overheat and burn your house down. So AC is pretty useful :D
