Why wouldn't 8 foot tall super soldiers clanking about in heavy powered armor full of all kinds of mechanics and mechanisms to argument the wearer be great stealth troops? I see no problem here.

There's more to stealth than being quiet, especially in the cacophonous battles of 40k. Additionally; Corvus and Phobos armour run silent at the cost of defense.

There's some "warpy" stuff regarding their skills and abilities to kind of blend into shadows and become silent from what i recall. Or maybe that was just with Corax himself

That for a tiny handful of the most elite. A vast majority really are just incredibly sneaky. The being silent thing, though, is an armor modification.

They do have scout armor. Also, ork kommandoz are basically as big as space marines and are stealthy.
