I was in the park one day a few years back and I ran into a loudly dressed vaguely androgynous individual with a giant rope and stick contraption making giant bubbles.
They told me they were testing it out, having built it for their apprentice, so they could perform together at an upcoming event, and in that conversation I learned so much about some bubble based subculture that I didn't even realize existed. Either that or an encounter with a fey. I honestly can't rule it out.
I would guess it's similar to the liquids that are used for vaping, without the nicotine and flavourings though ofc, since she's blowing it into the big bubble with that black tube. One of the glycerins used for vape liquids actually makes soap bubbles more durable, we played around with that with some friends years ago. Managed to get bubbles last for like 20? minutes. The bubbles were just hanging out on the grass outside, it was pretty cool!
We bought a miniature smoke machine and a bubble machine. Pointed the exit of the smoke machine at the air intake of the bubble machine - instant smoke bubbles.

P.S. The brand of dish soap makes a difference! Try to get whatever he recommended, otherwise whatever has the highest ionic surfactant concentration.
