control your dogs.

I love all animals. I don't want to do it. But in my area, if my dog is on leash, and another dog attacks it, and my dog happens to kill the attacking dog in self defense, the city/county will destroy my dog too. However, If I intervene and kill your dog first, I have no legal repercussions.

I will not let my dog die because you cannot control your aggressive Chihuahua.

This comes up because my (on leash) dog was attacked by an off leash little shit in my buildings elevator. All I could do not to step on the little dog.

Many of you are not reading this. I am not worried about my safety (mostly), I am worried about the city/county destroying MY dog, because MY dog killed some little shit dog (in self defense) that attacked her. This is about the shitty city repercussions of my dog defending itself, where as, if I defend her, there are no legal repercussions.

And if it tests negative for rabies, I'll eat it

Just cook it all the way through.

Whenever I’m walking my lab and see another dog unleashed, I turn around and go a different way. Not dealing with some dumbass taking...

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

...five steps and calling their dog from fifty feet away while it jumps around and barks at us. Fuck those lazy cunts.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

I had to start carrying pepper spray because of the loose pitbulls in my neighborhood.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I had an unleashed chihuahua go after my leashed pitbull and I was the tenant that was forced to move out of get rid of the dog. Absolute bs

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

There are leash laws for a reason. "But what about dog parks!" An aggressive dog should not be loose at a dog park.

8 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

I am a chihuahua owner and I totally agree with this. My dog is ALWAYS on leash cuz I recognize what a shit he can be.

8 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 3

I don't get that mentality. I have a lot of land, on my land my dogs roam. The second I enter public space you bet they are on leashes.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

even then. if not fenced in they are uncontrolled. if they come at me on public space like a sidewalk, my OP applies.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have a better idea. Lets get rid of stupid laws that require putting down a dog for acting against another dog in self defence.

8 years ago | Likes 65 Dislikes 2

it will all be here say when cops get there.....take care of it yourself

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Unfortunately a lot of places have draconian laws regarding dogs

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

Yep. A dog the remotely looks like a pitbull is a pitbull and is immediately put down here. Pits (and a few others) are banned outright 1/

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

here. Some people are still stupid enough to breed them illegally, even if they are well behaved cared for dogs, in the eyes of the law, 2/

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

their no good for any one and are illegal to own. They're immediately put down for the most part if authorities catch wind of them. 3/

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

However, if you arrange to have the dog shipped out of the country, there's no issue. You won't be stopped. Recently 6 pits were arranged 4/

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Sadly in some cases it's required, getting the taste of blood lead to a once sweet dog killing all of our chickens, attacking livestock >

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Killing one of our cats (in our house, fucker shoved himself in and cornered it as it was injured). In some cases its not a worry, however >

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I mainly believe that due diligence is required after an incident, otherwise the sad truth is that putting them down is the next safest >

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Option for neighborhoods, especially ones with children.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Thank you for engaging but I sometimes wonder if we would say the same for humans. As in "This human likely will kill children who taunt...

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Defend your dog sure but I don't think killing is necessary, depending on the size/breed obviously.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Carry pepper spray and empty that bitch

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

A search youtube for Chihuahua being pepper sprayed LOL "Mailman who pepper-sprayed 'yappy' dog wasn't in danger, owner says" Too funny

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 5

“No repercussions” lol.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

This happened to me with my shepherd husky mix. A small terrier attacked so i grabbed it by the scruff and handed it to its owner.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

this is preferred. i agree.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Little dogs are the worst because people forget they are actually still dogs.

8 years ago | Likes 81 Dislikes 8

They aren't. They're a separate species of horrible rodent.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 6

Yep. But on the other hand, my neighbor has a chihuahua, which she disciplines and trains like a normal dog, and it's a fucking great dog.

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

Fuck yes!!!!!! Litttle dogs can be awesome if they are actually trained

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Absolutely. And because they never face consequences they never learn.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Omg this!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Little dogs are fine and tend to have better temperments bred into them, as usual it's the owner's lack of responsibility.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 5

little dogs are way more aggressive in my experience...

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

It blows my mind that this is an unpopular opinion. NO animal should be allowed to roam at large in a public space, ESPECIALLY if the 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 2

NO animal, including cats ?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Especially cats. Unless you like roadkill/dog food kitties. But that's just my own opinion & I know a lot of people strongly disagree.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

owner doesn't have a means to control them. My dog has a pretty damn good recall, but he still is NEVER allowed off leash in public. Only2/3

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

in the deep woods where it's very unlikely that we'll run into anyone. If an unleashed dog approaches me, it's going to get kicked. Hard.3/3

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

oh, there are leash law here. lots. but still, if a dog kills, it gets put down. doesnt matter who is on or off a leash.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

?? Not sure where you live, but I work with dogs and where I am that is 100% not the case unless the casualty is human. If an unleashed 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

dog charges a leashed dog and is injured or killed, the owner of the leashed dog isn't even obligated to pay veterinary expenses. 2/2

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I'd say the unpopular opinion is killing.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

A 90 lb pit (love pits, grew up w them) was dragging his 6-year-old “owner” down the street when he tried attacking my 8wk old pup

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The kid kept yelling “don’t tell my parents” as the dog kept jumping up on me and scratching me multiple times

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I’ve always been on “team pit bull” but in that moment I would have done ANYTHING to stop him, all bc irresponsible owners let their kid

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

walk their dog he had NO control of

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I grabbed the collar of a dog that came after my leashed dogs. It was on a leash held by a tiny girl. Her parents were oblivious that 1/

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

2/ she was being dragged and their dog was about to get into a fight.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

When an off leash dog runs up to mine and the owner is like "He's friendly!" I just say "Mine's not." They scramble so fast to grab it back.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

Yeah, I shout from 40 ft away "MY DOG WILL BITE YOURS". That's the only thing that seems to get through their thick skulls.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Train.your.dog. Train him to not hurt other dogs - not hard.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Dude, no. Training a dog out of fear and aggression is hard as fuck, and sometimes not fully possible. Learn before you speak.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

...ive trained rescues that i’ve saved from kill shelters... highly aggressive fighting dogs to big sucks. I’m well educated on the topic

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The dogs you encountered in your personal life were resilient - congrats. Others aren't so lucky.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Punt that fucker

8 years ago | Likes 3728 Dislikes 17

Or better yet vote on legislation that is against having that happen to your dog. Yay no one has to die. Simple

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Lol because making something a law will eradicate it. Gtfo.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I have, unfortunately, punted a few dogs that tried to attack my border collie. Had a doberman assault her once... Stomp/kick saved the day.

8 years ago | Likes 217 Dislikes 2

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Had an animal control officer tell me that I was allowed to take "any action necessary" with a situation similar to @OP describes. Punt!

8 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 1

Just make sure you can prove it was off leash as after it got booted I snapped a photo.

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

I've done it. If a dog comes at mine aggressively. I step between and get mean. And i have booted and swatted them. Vet bills are $$$.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I'm so down for Chihuahuacide.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Punt it then sue owner for dog attack. Because, sadly, the law doesn't allow you to punt the owner.

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 2

huh

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Literally^^ besides if you have a dog that can be killed by a chihuahua then you don’t have a dog you have a rat

8 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 20

Rats are better pets. Smarter and dont poop everywhere.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

You’re right I apologize! Calling a chihuahua or a shitzu a rat is an insult to rats

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Uve got a large dog & is attacked by tiny dog & big dog acts appropriately chances are the small dog gets hurt and urs ends up responsible

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Ops dog would be destroyed by the city. That's the point of the rant

8 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

Yeah which is why they edited the post because they didn’t say that at first

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 8

No way man, chihuahuas are vicious little fuckers and they do not fight fair at all.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'd pick my own pet over someone else's too to be honest. I can't blame you OP.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

I'd kick your pet over any other too!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

As a rottie owner, the stigma is real.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

As a bully owner, I'm right there with you

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Mine is 1/2 lab, 1/2 rottie and 110+ lbs. I say “He won’t bite. No, he’s not mean” A LOT, as soon as ppl see him & they still don’t believe

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Ours was a kid magnet, large dog, kids would ask to pet him and he would sit and just love it while parents were watching in fear.. Lemmings

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

they dont have to love him, just dont hate him. it isnt hard.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I’m partial but I don’t see how anyone could hate him. He was attacked by a smaller dog once and got so freaked trying to hid he wrapped

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

2 himself and leash around my legs while his owners just stood there and yelled at their dog. -_-

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

you'd think, but cop excuses seem to only be good if cops are using them. Almost like the excuse ultimately means nothing.

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 1

Police have different, less restrictive, rules about using lethal force than civilians do. Which is weird when you think about it.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's not always the bite, but the infection that follows. A mangy little shit of a dog can be more dangerous than a huge ass one.

8 years ago | Likes 85 Dislikes 1

Interestingly this is why human bites are so dangerous. Our mouths are much fuller of bacteria and shit than many animals (like dogs)

8 years ago | Likes 43 Dislikes 0

Is that actually true? I have heard that about Komodo Dragons as well, and that was debunked. Just curious.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Well maybe if you fuckers would stop eating ass, the average mouth would be a little cleaner

8 years ago | Likes 78 Dislikes 0

Definitely this. My parents had an issue with pit bulls in Oklahoma. There is it illegal to kill an animal unless it is harming person 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Always disappoints me to hear a story about an aggressive pitbull... They're just people pleasers. If they're around shit people and not /1

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

raised right, or even worse intentionally raised to be violent, that's the tiny % of cases that give an amazing breed such a bad rap...

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I've been around pitties most of my life and I've never feared a single one of them. They're some of the nicest, happiest dogs when properly

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

socialized, around a decent owner. Only thing that *might* make em more dangerous is how strongly they rely on their owner's emotions.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I have been around some wonderful pits. These were left to fend by themselves while owner was in jail. Parents were okay with them till 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

they started showing aggression to their animals.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Yeah that's why I mentioned the socializing bit... They can be anti-social if they aren't exposed to other people / animals when young

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

or livestock. Harming a pet is not an acceptable excuse. Which is ridiculous imo. 2/2

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Get in the way, get bit, kick it's ass. Sometimes you gotta lose a battle to win a war

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Agreed. I'd take a bite for my Lab any day. And kick the biter's ass.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm in OK too. Isn't it amazing how livestock have more rights than pets?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Definitely. One of these pits mauled my cat (parents were watching her) to the point she had to be put down. There argument for shooting 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

them was that the dog didn't stop when my dad stepped in. Thus he "feared for his life."

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Holy shit people, read, re-read, and understand the post before voicing your opinions. A lot of people could have avoided embarrassment.

8 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 7

This isn't a defending your dog post. He's saying HIS dog is going to attack.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

im saying my dog is capable of defending herself with lethal force.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I've read it a few times now and it seems pretty clear. This guy is threatening to kill dogs that approach his dog. Especially small dogs.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Not all dogs that approach his dog. Only the dogs that attack his dog are going to be killed. This is to save OP's dog from the city.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Why does he need to kill it? Why cant he just stop the fight?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

thank you.

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 4

This has to do with gaming professionaly, yes?

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

The premise is if a dog approaches him his dog will attack it so he's going to attack it first.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Sounds like both him and his dog are walking threats to other dogs in the world and you guys are like 'hell ya kill any dog that gets close'

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

he just values his dog's life over your shitty dog's. His is on a leash. He's responsible. Be responsible and your dog won't get punted.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

There is nothing indicating that OP's dog is aggressive. That premise is incorrect.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

‘Killed in self defense’ Sounds like both parties need better control of their dogs.

I feel like theres a lot of ways to intervene without killing the other one seems pretty easy to just get between them esp if its a chihuaha

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 6

Those rat-dogs aren't called ankle-biters for no reason, so when you hit you hit them hard.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Speaking from a complete lack of experience. They are a fast wild animal. You can't just "get between them".

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Why wouldn't you try? If your plan is to kill it, you're still gona have to "get between them" idiot

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Hitting something is alot easier than blocking it from reaching your dog.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Chihuahua are always attacking or barking. I hate those dogs but how do you step on a unleashed pit bull? Are you 7 foot tall? I’m not

8 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 7

Shoes are a hell of a drug. Skull and thorax are good targets.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The best way is to grab a dog by the back legs and drag them away. I once had to do this and it worked and I am a fight-averse 5'4" woman.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Batch of dachshunds recently killed a woman. They're vicious, and get away with it cause they're so small.

My aunt's dog died because someone didn't keep their dog in leash.

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

I think it is just instinct to defend someone you love.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

It really is. I love my little Sherman and if you saw the wound he sustained my reaction was merited.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

better their dog than your doggo---you're protecting your FAM

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I would do the same thing. I think most people would.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I think so too, I am by no means a violent person. I don’t think I could even hunt a dear. But in that moment I went full rage mode.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

“Ran up” sounds like your dog wasn’t secured either.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 25

My dog was tied to a post in my backyard while I was gardening. Dog got out and came quietly into backyard. Ripped open my dogs neck. Kicked

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Him in the face so hard I could feel/ hear the bones in his face shatter. Great day.

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

I did save my dog though

8 years ago | Likes 135 Dislikes 0

To feel guilty is normal, but you did the right thing.

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Don’t worry, you did right

8 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 2

Thank ye kind sir. It’s the only large thing I’ve ever killed on purpose and the methodology was as they say, metal. Definitely som guilt.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I shuldnt ask, but i gotta. Did it catch some air? If so how much? How far did it go?

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

Didn’t fly at all l, just kinda flopped over

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I caught it on the face so it would’ve been pretty insane if it caught air

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

What size of dog did you kick?

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Some kind of mutt. Looked like a Shepard pittbull mix maybe? Really not sure. Wasn’t a good time to ask. the size of a collie. I don’t think

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

The wound wasn’t necessarily mortal they just didn’t have the money to fix it.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Did they try to take legal action against you?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

No they where thankful I didn’t take action against them. Their dog escaped and tried to kill my dog. Humans get right of way in that

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

No that’s definitely wrong, I have no idea though. Very generic looking brown dog with a dark snout and pointed ears. Size of a collie

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Next time the little dog attacks yours, kick it in the fucking mouth and tell the owner to control their dog or they shouldn't own one.

8 years ago | Likes 961 Dislikes 15

Said that to an old cunt of a woman a couple weeks back after she herumphed about me and my brother standing on the sidewalk with some dogs

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My brother was adjusting some leashes and apparently couldn't cross the street with her own dog.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Kick the dog and shoot the owner.

8 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 5

That doesn't work unless you're an asshole cop

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 4

Gave me a chuckle

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I need clarification. Am I kicking the dog or the owner?

8 years ago | Likes 423 Dislikes 2

Both

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

all of the above

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Both

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Both

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yes. Establish dominance.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Pick up the dog by its hind legs and beat the fuck out of the owner with it.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 332 Dislikes 0

Perfect! Made me lol

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 132 Dislikes 0

Both if you need to really get the point across.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes

8 years ago | Likes 72 Dislikes 0

Yes

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Both

8 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 0

¿Por qué no los dos?

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Arriba!

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Turns out a mexican fiesta is not the proper response to the death of our captain.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

yes.

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

No. Because then he could get fined or even arrested for animal abuse. The law is fucked up, your only real option is to kill the dog.

Okay

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Sounds like you aren't ready to be responsible for owning a dog. If it gets loose and threatens other people or their pets, that's on you.

8 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 3

You try to kill me for killing your dog that attacked mine, and you won't be found

8 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 3

Really? I'd rather they be found and made example of. Deter future issues.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

You try killing the killer of an attacking killer dog of the killer and I'll go crosseyed and confused.

@TheDogCatcher

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

This is why she has a shitty dog, everyone lets her get away with shit cause they want to fuck her...

8 years ago | Likes 255 Dislikes 3

See, I read "cutest girl" as "mist adorable child." Good to know the internet hasn't completely ruined me. Yet...

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

You just talked out of both sides of your mouth.

8 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 1

Just scroll up and read your poor meme again

8 years ago | Likes 56 Dislikes 6

oh, this interaction is what spawned this meme. I did not have this opinion before.

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 25

Just scroll up and read your poor meme again

8 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 8

Why would you harm the dog if a shove was enough to get the situation under control?

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

i didnt harm it. but that isnt the point of the post. read again.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 6

"If the owner wasn't the cutest girl in the building I sould have" (kicked it)...

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

What’s more important? Your dog? Or some pussy?

8 years ago | Likes 130 Dislikes 2

my dog. but as it appeared to just be aggressive barking in my dogs face (basically under her head) and no yelping, i didnt hurt it.

8 years ago | Likes 52 Dislikes 9

*that you probably ain't gettin'

8 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

She's not going to fuck you. Make peace with that and punt her Chihuahua

8 years ago | Likes 62 Dislikes 3

Hey that kind of thinking is not going to sell any low cut blouses.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As a girl, this.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Likes Hercules and the Nemean Lion.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Unfortunately, he can’t. You’d know if you read some other replies, but that constitutes abuse. Death is the only option in defense.

8 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 14

That in no way is factually accurate.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 7

you have no clue how badly written the laws are. You are often allowed to kill an animal in self-defense or defense of property. You are 1+

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

2/2 given no such benefit if you harm an animal. If a thing is a pest, you finish it off, or it's a wounded animal that'll hurt others.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

What? That makes no sense, I know if a man attacked me I'd have a lot more legal muck if I killed him, rather than maiming him and escaping

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 3

The man had the capacity to recognize that you can neutralize him and let him live. Little shit doesn't have the brain to understand.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Attacking something that matches your size wih just their foot, and attacking one of natures best predators. too dumb to live.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

But why does that matter in the eyes of the law if it's effective? Not trying to be obnoxious, it just really doesnt make sense to me

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Killing it just seems even MORE abusive really.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Depends on the state laws. There are places where letting the assailant live opens you up to liability where overkill doesn't.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

So, always shoot to kill?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If you shoot, shoot to kill. trick shots do not work in combat. Warning shots land somewhere and drywall doesn't stop 'em. And legally, 1+

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You injured my dog, you owe me $10,000 in vet bills

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Yes, exactly.
