Considering that my retirement plan is inheriting some land that's paid off, and to build a modest house on it, considering that my 401k will likely be worthless by the time that comes around. And they're gonna gut social security, which I've paid into since I was 16.
My property taxes more than doubled last year. It was a huge surprise and put me in quite the financial bind.
