I have(had) some dear friends who every so often would repeat some of the most vile right wing ideas, and they had to be told repeatedly where they came from. Yet they weren't a big fox news person. They just got it through other channels, and other people. The same white supremacy, same MAGA bullshit, but filtered down to different groups in easier to consume for them to feel independent.
