No gravity comes from the mass of the objects (in this case us and the earth). The speed of the spinning would eventually fling us off when it overcame gravity. Like mud flinging off your tires when they start spinning faster

In science fiction, spinning is used to create a gravity like force gravity for people standing on the on the outside wall of the spaceship, like on a spinning amusement park ride.
Actual gravity is caused by the density of an object that draws items to it, like a bowling ball on a mattress. If earth spun fast enough, it would overcome gravity and throw us off, if we somehow survived to that point
