What tipped me off were the eyes. So I looked at the rest, and here are things that make no sense: buttons, hat emblem, collar, "signature".

the button on the top left is cut off; the button on the right doesn't have any purpose and also has a weird position compared to the rest of the buttons; looks randomly placed. and the white collar has some weird stuff going on in the middle. looks like he is wearing 2 white shirts at best.

The button on the top left isn't cut off, the flap is rolled over. The button on the right does in fact have a purpose with this style of jacket. There's a row of buttons on that side that button through the outside layer and then a matching row on the right that buttons down the edge of the outside layer. Kilts button the same way.
