6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Alright. Out with the details! ;)

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I was 330 in HS and got down to 187 in 14 months. Then I started construction which killed my uncle, so I went to college taking 5 classes

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

While working 40+ hours for 4 years (literally not 1 party in college) and gained back to 260. Now my bone structure and genetics are kickin

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Jeez! Great job. Keto?

6 years ago | Likes 178 Dislikes 11

No, this is Patrick.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Keto? No, his names Robert.

6 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

I was gonna guess cocaine.

6 years ago | Likes 85 Dislikes 1

Honestly man, me too.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I was gonna guess a side of lap band.

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Yes, with intermittent fasting and calorie counting

6 years ago | Likes 272 Dislikes 0

Wow!

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Try 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 2tbsp ginger juice, pinch of salt, a few drops of stevia and 10oz of water. Absolute appetite killer

6 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 2

I lost my appetite just reading about it.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What do you mean by ginger juice? Cold pressed ginger?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Yes, I dont have a juice, but found a big bottle on Amazon for 16 bucks, not cheap but it goes a long way 2 or 3 tbsp at a time

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

*juicer

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Seems that works for a lot of people. I better read up on it. Thank you!

6 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

I’ve had a lot of success with intermittent fasting. I’ve found it the easiest way for me to reduce my overall calorie consumption.

6 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

I dropped 30lbs with 2000cal limit and 3x week strength train *or* jogging. Weight stayed off going on 3 yrs. I hear keto bounces back.

6 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

It can if you're not careful

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Like, I’m gonna keep eating pizza and some garbage. Food is life, but in moderation.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Keto bounces back fast. I had a rough breakup last summer and went off the rails for 2 months. Gained 50 pounds back in that time.

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Yeah I think it’s more of a “make this change and stay this way or else” diet whereas classic calorie count and exercise is forgiving.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

You'll bounce back after every diet unless you permanently change your eating habits. Doesn't have to be keto for life, but you can't go ...

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

back to eating simple carbs. Moderate amounts of complex carbs are fine for a maintenance diet. Like brown rice, waxy potatoes, beans etc.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You sir are THE man

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What's your schedule with IF? I'm on Keto now, I'm a 5'4" woman 223 lb > 185 lb now, but plateauing at 45 protein & 15 carbs/day.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

18/6 most days, sometimes omad, with the occasional extended fast. 3-5 days

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thank you! Would you say the extended fasting was once a month or more frequent? And will supplements affect that?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Once a month. I take b complex, vitamin d, fish oil, potassium, magnesium, and a multivitamin everyday fasting or not.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You have to also count calories

If you're not losing then you're either counting improperly or need to see a doctor. Or you have a cheat day that blows it all to hell

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That seems incredibly low...

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Do you have a lot of excess skin to deal with? I’ve lost 60 so far and notice a lot of droopy spots in my skin.

6 years ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 0

I think the only option is what my brother did, which is to get plastic surgery to remove extra skin. They give you a new bellybutton

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If you ask nicely, they will make it fuckable.

6 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

That's your penis.

6 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Underrated comment of the day! +1

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Of course, you can't lose 250 lbs without leaving a ton of excess skin.

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Yes, I just got a referral for a plastic surgeon consultation. So I can get an idea of what they can do and how much it will cost

6 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Godspeed to you!
Encourage everyone with your amazing example.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I second this question. I’m losing now but was 500 lbs at 6’4. I’m really scared of the stomach and arm flaps.

6 years ago | Likes 43 Dislikes 0

.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Maybe I'm not qualified to answer, but possibly view the extra skin as success. Compared to heart and diabetic complications down the road

6 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

Agreed. I’m scared but not enough to stop losing weight.

6 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

So if you get a rash under your flaps then insurance will help pay to remove the flaps. If a rash occurs then it is no longer cosmetic.

6 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

Really?

6 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

That’s brilliant while at the same time makes me really frustrated at insurances companies.
