The friends I've made around the world has taught me so much about different cultures that I feel a lot of love for many different people. I have friends from Germany, Kuwait, the UK, Japan, Ukraine, Russia, Iraq, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, India, Pakistan, Canada, Philippines, Korea, and Mexico. Some I met here in the states in person, some online.
The ones who live here are mad at the government. The ones who live in other countries have a hard time not being mad at Americans for voting for a fascist and to be honest, in someways I feel the same. One thing that is interesting is how other countries are more aware of the news around what the US government is doing more so than Americans. Funny how that works when the news has no political bias and instead reports on just the facts.
I just want everyone outside the U.S. to know that I'm sorry. I didn't vote for a fascist. The tariffs are stupid and only hurt Americans, not the intended audience like Trump dumb ass thinks. I love you all even if you don't feel the same.

Swede here: I like a lot of US nature, most USians I’ve met have been cool and much of the culture is great. But I hate the constant self aggrandizement, the bullying of anyone in your way, the religious zealots, the complete leadership failure in protecting people and planet. If you had protected environment and workers rights, and reigned in dangerous industries etc. the world would have followed. Instead the inaction emboldened the worlds greedy politicians to sell out people and planet.

As an American living abroad, I actually feel so comforted by the people I meet. Everyone- Europeans, Iranians, Palestinians, Chinese people are very kind. Rather sad. The vibe I get is mostly pity. During the Iraq War, it was very different, confrontational. But now, it’s shock, awe, sadness.

Having been an online gamer most of my 40 years, I've been around non-americans for a lot of it. There has always been some animosity towards us, because we do dumb/bad things sometimes, and I didn't blame them for how they felt. IF we get that far. Not to be alarmist but the US is crashing on many fronts and the economic and military costs of the current administration could have severe consequences. China for example seems to be quietly positioning itself to fill a power vacuum left by the US. Why wouldn't China soon decide that military conquest of Taiwan is now achievable because the US has expended much of its arsenal (weapons and money) in the Middle East while simultaneously eroding its global influence?

But be sure there are people in other countries who are following neither the US, nor their own politics. Rural people elsewhere tend to be very similar to rural people in the US.

This shit is important, increasing the operating cost for the fascist is important, but dont go off half cocked on some cowboy bullshit. Decide how far you are willing to go, and plan around that. Impulse, dont just react. Make your decision and plans before hand and commit to them. Have contingencies for contingencies. Have plans/ supply drops only you know about. Check for moles/ leaks even for "safe" and legal activities. Assume anyone and everyone will eventually break. It did take this though, to get Denmark to almost admit that their closest ally in the world wasn't the US. Almost. Still going to buy only American stuff that they could ground remotely if they'd want to. Norway has been going the same way, it's really stupid because both Denmark and Norway have industries that could have worked together with Sweden and Finland to avoid being dependent on the US.
