Steel monument of Lemmy Kilmister created by Caroline Brisset and erected at the Hellfest Open Air Festival in Clissons, France. The 13 meter sculpture contains a portion of the Lemmy's ashes.
Good Vibrations storage unit by Ferruccio Laviani. Hand carved from Oak to appear like a photography glitch.

Correction: This art is made with hammer, nails, and nearly infinite patience.

As an amateur artist, avid worldwide museum goer, and student of life, I’ve studied many media of art, and by far the most striking pieces are the most powerful. Although not a fan of Lemmy, a steel statue with some of his ashes is pretty striking. The skull made of layers of glass, and the painted cutouts. Wow.
I’ve seen Guernica 2x in my life in person, and at one point it was displayed behind bulletproof glass. Airport style security to visit it. Now, it’s behind ropes, and you can walk up.

#5 It may be silly to ask, but do you know the song for this one?

I would like to know as well!d

#2 The idea that someone created a sculpture that will always look like it's not real and someone just drew it into the photo fascinates me.

What’s funny is that all of these take an incredible amount of time and talent to do, and should be reflected in their cost. But then the slapping tree branch with a circle moon is the one that I would probably buy
gobblinal
That's the one style I think I might just be able to be almost kinda successful at.

#15 It's hard to believe that one it would have been better if they filmed the profile to break the illusion. because it 100% looks like a kids cutout not a painting I can't tell at all....
DevilsAdvocat
I was wondering why the hell that was included in this post until she said 'this is all a painting'
TomBrokaw
She tilts the camera at about 16-20 seconds into it, when she says "This is a painting. It is FLAT" and you can see it then
ISayGoodSirCouldIHaveSomeGoodChemicals
I've rewatched it several times even with it that close I can't tell...
thricebakedxyz
Agree, right when she says the words "a painting", I can tell.
thegarts
Ohhhh. It’s a painting. Ok. Very cool,

#11 I know people look at some art and say, ‘I could do that’… well, I could probably whip it… whip it good.

I tried...

Kinda worked? Maybe it's not a tree branch but rather something thinner? A bush or plant of some kind? And maybe needs to be fully dipped in the paint? The secret is not how simple it looks, but how to make it LOOK simple.
bbraunImgur
What was it covered in? Paint? Ink?
gobblinal
I assume paint because it looks like a "painting" but ink is less viscous so maybe that's what made it work better to transfer to the canvas?
