Ah yes, the real meaning of these holidays

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

On Moishe! On Herschel! On Schlomo! It's Hanukkah Harry, eight nights a year!

6 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 2

Half Jewish just depends if any of the 8 nights falls on the 25. Hanukkah on thanksgiving was fun a few years ago.

6 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Where's the Chinese food?

6 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

That's for Christmas Day

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not realistic as we bitch about seeing Santa everywhere

All of a sudden?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This year my mixed heritage and parentage family is celebrating Hanukkah on Dec 25 :-)

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Chrismukkah?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Pretty much... step kids are Jewish from their late father, my wife and my kids grew up sort of Christian but not very serious about it

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

(we don't have kids together, we both were widowed with adult children)

Mom and Dad are Catholic, Stepfather is Jewish. Got the two Christmases and the eight crazy night combo growing up. All the best food

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And that's how the Jews stole Christmas!

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

God damn

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Who wants brisket?

6 years ago | Likes 133 Dislikes 2

Is brisket a predominant food for Jewish folks?

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

On Christmas? Chinese food

6 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Boy I was hoping someone said this

6 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

smoked?

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Fuck yeah.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why isn’t he coming down the chimney? I mean, they HAVE one.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He didn't come through the chimney?

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

No, that's just some snow melt...

I read this in avi's voice. God Dan's dad is a treasure

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Brought to you by Maxwell House

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Anybody else spell it as Tuckus?

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Oy vey santa

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I thought it was spelled ‘tukus’.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's a gutteral "chhh" sound rather than a "k".

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Females don't wear the hat?

6 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 6

They used to wear wigs which was considered enough then little by little tradition was lost.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The hat

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

It's more of a drink pad you clip to your head.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What you're bald?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Nope

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

some (mostly orthodox) women choose to cover their head with a scarf, esp after marriage. Only men wear the yarmulke

6 years ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 0

Some other women shave and wear a wig. Source: I see them almost every day :)

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Cool. I did not know that. Thanks

6 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

"Oh, jew!" -Santa, probably.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Brisket is way better than milk and cookies.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm convinced they are going to murder Santa

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 5

I had a theory for a while that santa was anti-Semitic because why else does he skip all us Jewish kids houses.

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

Hanukkah Harry has that franchise. ;)

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

My theory was that Santa was Jewish which is why he could work on Christmas. back then I thought you were either Christian or Jewish.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think the menorah has the wrong number of candles?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The ninth one is used for lighting the rest.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's a chanukiah, which is supposed to have eight level candles and one other at a different height. 1/2

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A menorah refers to a structure in the Temple, which had six candles plus one. The chanukiah is based on the menorah but they're different.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thanks for clarifying!

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Plot twist, they want him to come in so they can kill him like they did to Jesus.

6 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 20

That was a joke guys

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

I liked it, but jew hate can be a touchy subject, considering it's a real thing

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

One minute you're making jokes and the next minute your buddy with a crap mustache is firing up the oven

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not a very good one.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

If the jews laid down their weapons they would be trampled, if the muslims laid down their weapons there would be instant peace.

6 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 15

At least we know that Santa isn't a Labour voter.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

And how is that connected to a cartoon about Jews and Santa??

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

There’s a difference between defending yourself and oppressing/taking land of a specific ethnic group. I say this as a non Zionist Jew.

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 5

I say this as a Zionist, Israeli Jew

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

You should be allowed to defend your homeland without people bitching all day. Yall literally needed an anti bomb wall.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

The mother doesn't look disappointed her kids aren't all Doctors yet. Unrealistic. Source: Jewish.

6 years ago | Likes 1175 Dislikes 9

They might be lawyers.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Overheard the other day "We're going to rip through this like a Jewish mother through self esteem!"

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Accurate.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The kid isn't a doctor yet. Unrealistic. Source: Jewish mother

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Funny, the only person I know who's Jewish and takes it seriously is this one doctor at work lol

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Maybe, but the kids are definitely feeling it

and the Menorah is wrong, the 8 branches are supposed to be even with only the 9th Higher than the rest

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

I've seen a great many "creative" channukiots. As long as there's one top candle the rest is ignorable.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

according to the ritualistic rules: the Menorah must be 8 branches of equal height, a Shamos that is higher, and light an extra each night

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Neat. I'm seeing a bunch of random rules (like different height candles on an even slant are fine) do you have a good concise source on it?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The Talmud Tractate Shabbat (21b-24a), Shulchan Aruch: Seder Ohr Hahaim, Mishnah Berura: Chapters 671-680, Kitzur Shulchan Aruch chapter 139

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

they may be creative, but they are not proper Chanukah Menorah's, and "Chanukia" is a 120 year old made up term, use the proper name

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Maybe you'd get there too if you stopped posting on Imgur and started working on your degree, Mordecai!

Bud lite

Question! Why are two males wearing a black hat, and one is wearing a white one?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If you're asking the significance of the colors, idk. In general, because males keep their heads covered in Judaism.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Diff types of Judaism wear different things depending on how orthodox they are. These are yarmulkes (yah-muh-kuh) and color doesn’t matter

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Thank you! I was very curious.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You can also get 'em in cute patterns! I knew a guy in college (music degree) who had one with a piano keyboard pattern for concerts.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Often too the loaners for guests + kids will be more colorful, while the ones for adolescents and adults will be more "daily driver" tones.
