I'm fairly competent with hiragana, minus some of the small character oddities, but for some reason I've had so much trouble with katakana, I really just can't get it internalised at all. Coming up to a year streak on Duolingo. It's not much but I've been enjoying it, I just wish they'd actually explain a few things.
